Perhaps it's the heat or perhaps it's the late city nightlife. Whatever it is that allows the dogs of Bangkok to sleep any and everywhere, it works. Howling intersections, busy shop entrances, in the middle of sidewalks and small roads at any time of day you will see dogs passed out and oblivious to noise and danger.
